I cannot believe school is less than 2 weeks away! Time really does fly by when you don’t want it to. Regardless, it is time to prep these kids and and get all the essential ready to go. First up, home lunch prep. I thought I would share our top favorites for getting those home lunches to and from school.
I’ve mentioned this before but these lunch bags are lightweight and machine washable. They are made from a neoprene insulated material, and are expandable (stores so much more than you would think, swipe to see). They zip up and have a soft grip handle making them easy to carry. With over 15 different prints and a nearly 5 star review it’s easy to see why these are the go-to bag for so many people, us included. Keep these in mind during your back to school prep.
You are going to need something to help keep everything cold. These are our favorite ice packs to throw in their lunch bags.
We have used the yum box for years. It is leak proof and has several dividers. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe. I like how the tray can be removed for easy washing. There are several configuration to choose between. I prefer this one because the divided sections are bigger.
I love these, they have so many sizes and configurations. They are also dishwasher safe, kid proof, and extremely tough. They will honestly last you a lifetime.
This set of two is a great deal that I saw and is being shipped as we speak. It includes 2 bento boxes and 2 silicone cups with lids made from durable BPA-free plastic. One section is perfect for sandwiches, while the other sections are perfect for sides and snacks. It is also dishwasher safe.
I haven’t tried this one but I thought the whole concept was really cool. This contains two temperature zones for hot and cold food in one box. It is a little pricier but I think this would be really convenient and give you even move options for school lunches.
One last thing, I love to throw in a lunchbox note every once in awhile. They never know when it's coming but when it does they love it!
Here is another option that helps you start the note then allows you more room to write your own thoughts.
I always love getting new lunch ideas so here is my list.
